Bringing your Blastoff income to the next level
by Duane on Dec.08, 2009, under Tips and Tricks
Here’s what Blastoff Network’s got going for us so far:
- First, we get huge discounts on services like TV, wireless phone, and interent.
- Second, we save big on all those exclusive Blastoff deals that stores give us at the Blastoff Mall.
- Third, we get paid rebates of 1% or more whenever we shop at any of these stores.
- Fourth and the best of all, we get paid whenever we refer a friend and he or she shops at any of those stores. Additionally, we get paid for their friends too, up to ten degrees of separation.
So, if everyone refers two people, you’re looking at getting paid whenever 2046 people shop using Blastoff. Sadly, the average Joe won’t refer anyone, so this is just a hypothetical number.
Each person’s purchases might only make you $1 a year, but I’ll take a work-free $2046 check any day.
We all know this already, but I want to share something new that most people don’t know.
How would you like to:
A) Change that $2046 network number into $2,097,150?
B) Get paid $100 or more for some purchases in your network?
Well, I found a way to do exactly this just by affiliating myself with Blastoff’s partner, and I want to share it with anyone interested, but this isn’t for everyone. It will take some work — part-time to start, but the full-time opportunity is available to those few willing to take it.
I could speak personally on the success I’ve had with them, but each person’s experience will be unique. Just like everything in life, you get out what you put in. Too many people sow no seeds, but still expect to harvest tomatoes come spring. It doesn’t work that way.
Let me tell you more. Please fill the form below, and one of my associates or I will call you directly. Just be sure the number is right, or you’ll miss out.

How well are your Blasters doing?
by Duane on Nov.19, 2009, under Blastoff News & Updates
Today, Blastoff updated the network view.
We can now see our direct signups’ network size.
For example, I can see that one go getter in my Blastoff network actually accounts 31% of my entire network.
Great job Don!
To check out this new feature, go to your Blastoff Network -> Manage Network.
Then, click the + next to the number of 1st level signups.
You will see the network size of each person in the list, and I suggest you keep an eye on the ones that are making it happen.
This is a welcome update from Blastoff, and I’m sure it’s the first of many to come.
I’m glad they’re listening to customer feedback.
The secret Blastoff Network signup link
by Duane on Nov.11, 2009, under Tips and Tricks
By now, many of us noticed that the custom page that Blastoff gives us doesn’t do so well at encouraging new members.
- You need your unique Blastoff link from when you first joined Blastoff Network. If you don’t know it, go to the My Blastoff Link page for details on how to get it.
- Be sure you’re not signed into Blastoff, and go to your unique Blastoff link. Welcome to the JMBN page.
- On the JMBN page, click the big red JOIN TODAY button and it will take you to the Blastoff signup form.
- In the browser’s address bar at the top, you will see your Blastoff signup form link. Copy and save that URL.
Why we should get a 100% full My Blastoff Status bar
by Duane on Nov.09, 2009, under Tips and Tricks
Some things to know about the My Blastoff Status bar:
After logging into your Blastoff Network account, you will notice a bar to the right of your picture (or lackthereof). The bar is titled My Blastoff Status.
This bar is only an indicator of goals set by Blastoff Network that you’ve completed. When you first join Blastoff, the bar starts at 10%. As you complete given goals, it will gradually move up to 100%. Nothing confusing there.
The My Blastoff Status Goals
- Login to Blastoff(10%)
- Add your profile picture (10%)
- Customize your Blastoff Network site (20%)
- Set Blastoff Network as your browser’s homepage using the ‘Set as Homepage’ button (20%)
- Invite friends to join (20%)
- Make a purchase using your Blastoff Network account (20%)
As you can see, each goal completed will give you a % of towards a full status bar. It’s in your own benefit to get a 100%, and I’ll explain why.
How a full My Blastoff Status bar helps us:
Although a complete status doesn’t directly affect the way Blastoff Network treats us in any way, it does affect how you will perform in your campaign. I like the way Blastoff brings these important points to our attention in a goal-oriented way.
Adding your profile picture gives your site a more personal feeling to help you become more comforatable using it. While currently your Blastoff visitors aren’t able to see your picture, I suspect this is going to change in the near future.
Customizing your site helps you make the layout look how you wish it to look. This is also seen by any visitors to your unique link, so you may choose topics of general interest s well. I actually minimized/hid them all to reduce page load time. See my Blastoff Network page.
Setting your homepage to your Blastoff page encourages you to keep Blastoff network in the back of your mind on a daily basis, thereby encouraging you to use it more often and expand your own network. Very wise thing to do.
Inviting friends to join is an obvious advantage, but I suspect the email invites aren’t working very well, so while you should use this to invite, I also encourage a followup email with your own unique Blastoff link just in case.
Making a purchase with your Blastoff account will help you realize what you’re offering when you recommend Blastoff as a helpful and free service. You want to know how you’re helping others and they’ll be more likely to appreciate your advice.
By all means, browse the mall, and if you find something you would like to buy anyway, use your Blastoff account, save some money, and learn exactly what a Blastoff Mall shopper experiences when he or she wants to buy something.
Lastly, although it’s not in the status bar goals above, you want to encourage your own network to complete the same steps. They may not understand what’s going on in their Blastoff network until they do.
Take these steps, and you’ll not only have a full 100% My Blastoff status bar, you’ll have an easy and insightful education as well as daily encouragement to expand your Blastoff Network for some extra money.
Who’s in my Blastoff Communications network?
by Duane on Nov.05, 2009, under Getting Started
So, you invited your friends to join you in Blastoff, but you don’t know who or if anyone signed up, right? I can help with that.
Admittedly, Blastoff Communications doesn’t make it easy for you to see who’s in your network. It would make things much easier if we got email confirmations of new members.
Also, you can only see the 1st level of your network — the people that joined directly under you. If there are any Blasters under them, you can only see the number of people in that level, but not any names or emails.
This makes it difficult for a team leader to motivate his or her network if he can only see the 1st level, but for now, that’s what we’ve got, so I’ll show you how to use it.
- First, of course, you want to log into your Blastoff account.
- From here, hover your mouse over the Manage My Network button and
- Click My Network.
I actually prefer to right-click that button and open in a new tab or window because Blastoff doesn’t make it easy to get back to your homepage from this screen.
On the My Network page, you can see the number of people in each level of your network. If you click on the [+] button for your first Blastoff network level, you will also see the names and emails of everyone in this level. If you have more than 25, you will need to page through them with the links at the bottom.
Hint: it would be wise to copy your network’s contact information and save it in your gmail contact list or any contact list. This way, you can email them with any important information or updates.
This will help you keep track of how fast your network is growing as well as keep your 1st level motivated to keep on keeping on. If you want to succeed with Blastoff, this is a priority to you.
How do I make money with Blastoff Network?
by Duane on Nov.04, 2009, under Getting Started
So, you want to make money with Blastoff?
- You must build a network of people under yourself.
You can do this many different ways. First, I would suggest talking to friends and family. Tell them of the benefits of Blastoff and that it helps you if they join. This isn’t for everyone, but if someone is interested, you’ll help them a lot. This is the best way to market your Blastoff network as it keeps the interaction personal, and everyone feels more comfortable.
Other ways to grow your network would be to put up flyers at your local stores or let people know what you’re doing online through Twitter, Facebook or various other tools. Those that are interested will investigate. No need to push anyone.
- People within that network use their Blastoff portal to make purchases.
Not much you can do here. If people don’t want to buy, they won’t buy, and it’s not your job to sell them. Just let the companies sell their own products or not. What you want to do is just encourage your network that if they’re going to make a purchase anyway, do it from their portal. It will save them a ton of money, and help you out too.
How do I get my own Blastoff URL?
by Duane on Nov.02, 2009, under Getting Started
So, you just joined Blastoff, and now you want to get your friends to join too.
How do I sign up my friends without giving their email?
- Just give them your new, custom URL from Blastoff.
Ok, What is it?
- Let me show you!
I see this question come up a lot with new Blasters. It’s one of those things that’s simple once you know how, but confusing until when you’re confused.
Blastoff refers to your unique part of the Blastoff URL as the sitename. Although you may not remember, everyone picks their sitename when setting up a new Blastoff account. If you haven’t done this yet, you should read the join Blastoff page to see if it’s a fit for you.
So, here’s how to get your sitename and unique signup URL after you’ve already joined.
- Log into your Blastoff account here: http://my.blastoffnetwork.com/login
- You will see four columns. The first has your picture (if it’s published), the second has links to make purchases, and the third has your account links. In this third column, click on Account Settings
- On this page, you will see a form to update your account settings. Look at the setting called Sitename. This is what you need.
- Your custom URL is going to be http://my.blastoffnetwork.com/sitename
- Just replace the sitename in that link with your own custom Sitename you saw in your Blastoff Network account settings.
Another tip: If you login to your Blastoff Network page and then logout, you should be automatically redirected to your own custom URL. Here, you can see and copy your custom URL from the address bar in your browser.
If this confuses you, I instead recommend following the steps above, and then you’ll be ready to tell everyone about the money they can save with Blastoff Network!
